These last two were taken the morning of the first Isu football game. The two of us stayed home because Evs was running a temp the day before, and throughout game day. Bummed to miss the first tailgate and game, but couldn't imagine leaving her when she was feeling yucky, I enjoyed our snuggles throughout the day. Those moments are becoming less and less, so soaking them up while I can.
You know Evs isn't feeling good when she doesn't want to eat. She had a stick of cheese for lunch, and I thought she would be all about the treat we bought at the store.....Popsicles. She's never had one.
Well, I was wrong. She didn't like them in her special holder, and she didn't like them on the stick. Not sure if it was too cold, or the berry pineapple flavor, but she was not a fan. We shall try again when she feels better, and for a special treat.
After her hourish nap, temp was back to normal, and slowly Evs spunk started to return. Hopefully this was just a 24 hour bug, and we kicked its booty outta here! Thanks for the advice from Aunt Hollie, Lindsay W, and Lindsay B. Helps knowing what to look for, and what to do when your peanut is running her first temp.
Also thank you Aunt Brigett for offering to watch Evs, so I could go to the game. Couldn't bring myself to leave her today, but we will take you and Uncle Steve up on your offer one of these days ;)

Cyclones didn't win, but I would consider our day of snuggling, singing, going to the store, laughing, playing on the iPad, reading, going on a walk, and bonding as momma and daughter the biggest victory!
