Mommy and Everlee day

When you ask your almost three year old what she wants to do on her mommy and Everlee day, and she says go to toys r us and look at birthday presents, get a latte, and eat at a restaurant, your happy to partake.
Latte aka whip cream smile
Immediately spots all of the pink Easter goodies!
Guilty! She knows she is not allowed to sit in the cars at the store, it's their rules. However when she spots an older girl climbing in and out of each car, and the mother disregards the postings to stay out of all of the motorized vehicles, it's hard to explain to your child in front of others, why she's not allowed to do the same. So what does this head strong red head do?? Tries compromising and negotiating, and when that doesn't work, takes it upon herself to just "quickly" hop in. I discreetly snap a pic, cuz dang it she's too cute, have her get out, and explain how we have to be respectful of rules. Temptation got the best of her;)
Now this is a ride she could sit in. At first she wasn't a fan of the jerky loud ride, and wanted out. But when it stopped, she asked to do it again. Cherishing these moments with our vibrant red head:)

Deer classic

Tyler and Michael were representing Dead Eye at the deer classic, and we went down to pay them a visit. We didn't get to spend much time with them, because they were super busy, but Evs did manage to sneak back to give the boys a quick hello;)
Hilight of her day, face painting!!!
Then a cupcake. Girl had a great time sampling and tasting all sorts of goodies!

Big sister class

Everlee attended a big sister class and was more than eager to not only play with the anatomically correct dolls, but answer questions and chime in whenever she felt necessary. It's fun to see her interact with other kids, and hear the things she comes up with.
Ummmmmm what is under this boys diaper momma?? And here we go quickly explaining boys and girls have different private parts. And on to the next activity please.
Swaddling the babies.
By far the youngest there, and by far the chattiest ;)
Birthing rooms, where we will not be spending time laboring and delivering in.
Everlees favorite part.... The nursery tour. I think she was fascinated by how small that baby was.
Learning the proper way to hold a baby.
Ending with a bit free play time. What a Special morning with Evs!!

Yahtzee

It's been a long time since we've gone to the library, and attended story time. We went last Wednesday and it was packed. Everlee was a bit overwhelmed by the crowded room, and stayed close during the readings. After story time was over, the crowd thinned out, and Evs had a good time doing her own thing, playing and exploring.
This is where she chilled, and I was perfectly happy soaking up the closeness.
Score!! An open iPad.
Little game of matching and go fish
I was excited to see that Evs was so interested in Yahtzee. I remember playing this game many many weekends as a child, and I look forward to the days we can play as a family.

The many faces

I wondered why Everlee was being so angelic and photogenic while we were eating lunch the other day.  I usually can't get her to look at the camera, and at this moment, she wouldn't look away.  Turns out she was kicking of her boots, and taking off her socks with her toes, under the table. Oh she is an ornery one, and I love it.... Most of the time;) I have met my match with this one:)
