Don't mind if I do

Everlee knows where her own cabinet is, likes to move the boring bowls, cups, and silverware out if the way, and help herself to yummy treats.
One if us was trying to have a relaxing bath, when a curious little redhead, decided to ram open the slightly ajar bathroom door. Shredding toilet paper, peeking under the seat, nosing around in the bathroom cabinets, blowing kisses, and giving high fives, kept this little one thoroughly entertained. Lil pumpkin has had a cold for the past 5 says, so whatever keeps baby girl happy, is what we shall do. Mommys bath wasn't very relaxing, let alone private, but oh well, I'm always happy to see this beautiful face! Even if it's covered in baby boogies and snot :)

Our Funny Little Valentine

15 years ago we got engaged on this romantic day,  and 15 years later how our Valentines day has changed. This special day has always been mommys favorite, and true to tradition, she got her beautiful flowers, and oh so quirky, yet sweet card from daddy. But instead of our traditional date night at a swanky restaurant, we spent the day and night with our favorite little girl, and we both couldn't have been  more happy to do so.
Not sure she shares her mothers love for this "holiday", or she's just plain sick of this darn bow.
Hide and seek with mommy and daddy.
Feeling pretty brave in her favorite toy of  the moment.
Happy day filled with lots of hugs, kisses and love! Perfection!

Guilt or Pride!

You Decide...

Hint: In case you can't see what happened, she tore her mobile down at some point this morning. You can see the white base still attached to the crib and the rest in a pile.

Daddy Daughter Super Sunday

Everlee wanted to go to the Des Moines RV show pretty bad, so I packed up her stroller, threw in a spare diaper and we hit the road while mommy was out of town. She really liked looking at all the campers and talking to the 100s of people who found it necessary to play 20 questions with me about her "gorgeous" and "adorable" red hair.

When we were going up and down the isles, her feet would kick with enjoyment. This continued for 2 hours.

We saw tons of great motorhomes and campers and the latest and greatest technology.

A slide within a slide?
What planet am I on?

I wish we would have discovered these dog dishes when we bought our first camper. Very cool idea because ours are always getting spilled and kicked around no matter where we put em.

This seems like an absolute necessity when tailgating. For some reason a raised patio just seems like it has FUN written all over it.

We had to make a stop by Bass Pro Shop because Everlee wanted to look at some hunting and fishing stuff. You can tell from the expression on her face how excited she is.

Then we went to check out their world famous fish tank and she LOVED it!!!

Now we're back home and laughing and enjoying each others company. I absolutely cherish my one on one time with her. I can't think of a better way to spend a cold Iowa Sunday afternoon.

Cheeeeese is the theme

For the past week whenever we go in to get Everlee from her crib, she is standing up playing. We had to take her monitor off the crib, and mount it on the wall, since it was becoming a play toy.
Before camera wall mounting
After wall mounting of the camera in her room. These pics were taken from the monitor, we are able to watch her on. No camera, guess I'll reach for my sound machine!
We finally took advantage of the numerous times that Everlee has been offered a kids menu. We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant Friday, and big girl got her own order of cheese quesadillas!!  She may have only had half a dilla, but they sure did make good leftovers for her, and daddy;)
high five =successful dinner!
Monday morning cheesiness! She just gets more and more fun by the day!!
