Book fair

Preschool did an old fashioned book fair, and we of course had to purchase some of Evs favorites. I'm not sure if she was more excited about buying her faves, or daddy coming to join in on the event.
Carefully looking over her options
Excited about the spotting of the last peppa pig book. In addition to peppa, bubble guppies, and frozen books were also brought home. Fun little surprise time with our kiddo.

Mystery behind the costume

For those wondering what the mystery costume was at Evs preschool, and the face behind the revealing get up, wait no more. You finally have some answers.
Let's take another "look" at the actual costume. It's Annie.
Annie not in costume. It's Everlees favorite teacher, Miss Beth.
Your welcome;)

Sneaky Pete

We attempted to put the Halloween candy out of reach, and on numerous attempts, our clever little red head managed to sneak a few pieces.
I LOVE this pic of Everlee! It captures her personality to a T, and she looks so adorable.

9:30 am snack

While Daddy was chopping wood last Sunday, Everlee and I made a morning trip to target. The bakery was handing out mini cupcakes, and kindly offered us FOUR of the mini treats. We graciously accepted two,and shared the chocolate chocolate Evs picked out, and the pumpkin spice I picked out. After she devoured her chocolate chocolate cupcake she moved onto the pumpkin spice cupcake, finished it, decided she didn't like it, and wanted a third! Nice try smarty-pants!

Happy 7th Birthday Chloe!

Happy seventh birthday Chloe!! We had such a fun afternoon celebrating your special day, and want you to know how much we love you!

Trick or treat day

Everlee was so excited for Halloween, that for days she kept asking is it trick-or-treat night? I'm sure the daily countdown felt like years to her. Halloween morning she was extatic to hear she was able to wear her Elsa costume to preschool! What she was even more excited about, were the three other elsas in her classroom l, and they were all her buddies:-)
Her bestie alexia playing a game of chase.
Pre tick or treat nourishment. Jack O lantern pizza with the Millers.
Our beautiful queen Elsa made it an entire block and a half trick-or-treating, and was rewarded with half a bucket of candy. We aren't quite sure how many pieces of candy she ate that night, but we know it was enough to give her an upset tummy the following morning:( but I'm sure every tasty treat was well worth it ;)

Orchard

Couple weeks ago we went to the orchard with some families from mommy's work. It was a rather brisk morning, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the wonderful day.
Bit apprehensive about the corn pool.
Warming up
After 15 mins, she fully immersed herself into the fun.
Little kiddos bounce pad
Of course had to head down the slide a time or 20 ;)
I had to take a pic of how long her locks looked after her hat smoothed out the curls.
Finally the treat we had both been waiting for . Apple spiced donuts that the orchard is known for!! Yummy!!!
This image made me about throw up. Dirty tights that were worn in the corn pool, since shoes are not allowed, in the mouth. This is what happens when your daughter is deliriously tired, and there is no reasoning with her. That, and it's probably how she got her pink eye. :-O
