Monday with our munchkin

Everlee was playing so well in her playroom, and didn't want to come out for breakfast. So, for a special treat, I took breakfast to her, and we ate in her playroom. I love being able to do something so small, but yet so meaningful for her. These little things, create such wonderful memories.
Also Evs has this random lone curl in the center back of her hair, that had a mind of its own today. I couldn't take my eyes off it, and loved seeing it bounce around all day.

Shopping partner

Everlee had the best time shopping with her own cart at Trader Joe's. Not sure if she had more fun pushing the little cart, or putting whatever caught her eye, in her cart;)
Shopping is hard work! Thank goodness  they have chips and guac to sample, while I continue my way thru the rest of the store.

Hey Hollywood

Thanks for the sunglasses Grandma CoCo, they are a hit!

No nap=sleepy girl(s)

Our little girl is really pushing the limits with nap time, and bed time, and it only appears to be with mommy. Its like we are reverting back to having a newborn in the house. Monday bedtime was 2 1/4 hours of on and off again crying, rocking, straightening her Lovey on her pillow, 109 Rock a bye baby sung, no nap Wednesday with 1 1/2 of similar shenanigans, and 1/2 hour of crying on Wednesday night. This seems to be a little game that she is doing just to me, and no one else who puts her to bed. I love my time putting her to bed, chatting about her day, singing, rocking, patting, and gazing into her eyes, and up until this week, have not had this rough of a time since she was 11 months. I do not believe in the crying it out theory, I believe when she cries, she has a want or need, for something emotionally or physically. I am happy to console her, comfort her, and be with her when she is having an off night, or week. I know when I'm having a rough day, night, or week, it's nice to have someone I can count on to be there for me, to provide love and support. Everlee can't speak all of the feelings, and emotions, that are going on in her evolving little body. Maybe it's not that she needs to communicate anything verbally, but simply needs the non verbals such as human touch, warmth, and love. Who knows?!?!  What I do know, is I will always do my best to be there for her, to help figure out what it is that she is needing, that's just what this momma does. But, wow she's making it difficult for this mom to work, and making me oh so tired. And if she's playing games with me, I will play along, but only for so long;)
Tired girl who is just as stubborn as her momma. She won't give in and go to sleep, and quite frankly when these pictures were taken it was too late for a nap anyway, but she is soooo sleepy.

Tool time

Once again Everlee was eager to join daddy in another one of his honey do projects ;) Together they assembled  mommys wooden filing cabinet, and had a splendid time doing so. Daddy's reward....an afternoon of ice fishing, and providing for his family:) Thanks Evs and Daddy for finishing the last piece of my office furniture!!

Nose to snout

Everlee can't get close enough to her favorite (at least last weeks fav) toy. She loves Peppa pig, and this is Peppa's baby brother George, or as Evs likes to calll him, Dorge.
Thanks daddy for the Peppa gifts!!  It's like Christmas everyday for this sweet girl.

54 degrees in January

Friday it was 54 degrees outside, and after Everlees nap, we couldn't wait to get outside and play.
Finally putting her snow boots to good use!
Trying out the sled on snow, and not on our carpet.
Bubbles!! Can't believe we were outside participating in this activity, in January. Won't hear us complain about these temps:)
