Good for the Soul

This weekend we joined the Janasko/Boucher family in Estherville for sweet corn days, and boy oh boy did we have such a wonderful time.
We have been hearing about this festival for years, and finally made it up for our first celebration. So glad we did,  as it was much needed for us to have time with our loved ones we don't see often.
We kicked off Friday with pizza at Uncle Johnny's and Aunt Chel's, and simply spent time together chatting, laughing,  playing cards, having adult beverages, solving world problems, and truly just relishing in one another's company. Oh the memories, and visuals created that night!!
Saturday after Everlee's first taste of Great Grandpa Bou's famous breakfast, we headed to the square and attended Everlee's very first parade. Baby girl was so tired, but she powered thru the exhaustion, and absorbed all of the festivities.
Playing at the neighbors sandbox before fueling up for the parade.
Off to the parade, and so tired.
Action shot scurrying for candy.
The sirens were SOOOOO loud, and not everyone was a fan. Grandma Jan to the rescue :)
💗
Resting after the parade and lunch. I LOVE this picture so much.
My soul sister, who is always there for me, and my family. Beyond thankful she is married to my brother, and such a huge part of my life!
After Thanksgiving Dinner in August, at great grandpa and grandmas, the boys took care of the children, and the "hotties" hit the town. So fun, and  enjoyed our tradition of girl time at small town bars. Thanks guys for babysitting ;)
My rock, my world. There are not enough words in this universe to describe how much love I have for him.
Cousinly love! These three were so sweet together, and all played so well together.

Big thanks to Johnny and Chel for opening up their quiet/peaceful adobe to all of us. We had such a joyous time, created so many fun memories, and look forward to this new tradition, for years and years to come.

This trip made our hearts happy, fed our souls, lifted our spirits, relaxed our shoulders, and brought our chins up!!!
Many thanks to all involved.  Much Love.
