Birthday weekend

We celebrated Everlees birthday a weekend early, and it was such beautiful weather, with wonderful company!
My phone camera has a scratch on the lens, so pics are blurry, therefor not many were taken. But, you can still see the joy on her face in every pic:)
Seeing her birthday gift from mommy and daddy.
Super excited for the trampoline she wanted.
Hugs, gifts, and a sweet treat from auntie Brenda! She and Andy Weren't able to make it Saturday since Brenda ran her "final" Boston marathon.
Per Evs request, she asked Brigett and Steve to dress up as Snow White and Prince Charming. They nailed it, and Everlee was thrilled!!
Seeing smiles Like this throughout the day, make all of the hard work, and late nights creating her party worth it. A big thank you to Hollie, and Grandma K(and poppa k's chopping and dicing skills) for bringing sides to contribute to the festivities. They were deeeelish! Also Brigett for always making sure our home looks beautiful, for taking less off of our plate, and for just knowing what needs to be done to help out wherever, and whenever! Finally to Gma coco(and poppa) for making the perfectly delicious cake, for helping with food, and decor.  Gma coco your talents always amaze me, and we thank you for
Efforts!! What a magical day for our special princess, and what great company and gifts Evs was showered with.

My turn

Evs got to go with me to my Drs appt, wanted to hear our baby, and see what all happend at these visits. She was a great listener, and even better helper. She took my blood pressure, wrote her name on her on "sample" cup, gave me a band aid when they pricked my finger, checked my weight, and got to help with tummy measurements. After I was done, she wanted her turn to sit on the table ;) Drs and nurses were so pleased with her manners, and behavior, they rewarded her with TWO stickers :)

Happy Easter....Kind of:-/

The spotting of the Easter basket, and the hunt.
Then it was off to another easter tradition, brunch with grandma coco and poppa. Everlee was full of attitude, and while our breakfast was deelish, and so was the company, lil red was rather spicy.
Wish we could have spent more time together, but this family was exhausted from a sick kiddo who was having some sleep regression issues as well. So after brunch, we headed home and all took a family nap that afternoon. Ahhhhhhh!!
This about sums up life with an almost three year old. Or as daddy would say, it's just life with another female. One minute all is well, the next, your moody, grouchy and irrational;)
Sleep of that sickness and crankies!!
Thanks for the yummy eats, easter gifts, and yearly tradition poppa and grandma.
Until next year!!

Easter tradition!

This Year for Easter we attended the polk city Easter egg hunt again, and headed over to Brigett and Steve's after for a day long celebration. We had such a great time eating, chatting, listening, and laughing. Even tho Evs wasn't feeling the greatest, she rallied, only with minimal attitude, and we enjoyed the day! Thanks for hosting DeVos gam, and we look forward to many years of this new found tradition.
Her loot! She bypassed packets of goldfish crackers, and fruit snacks(both which she loves) and went straight for the  candy. When asked why she didn't pick up the crackers, she replied"those aren't treats, those are snacks." Smart girl, and can't argue with that. Apparently you pay no mind to what you can eat daily, and you bolt straight for the novelties;) dont blame her!!
More Easter goodies! Thanks Brig
And poppa and grandma k for the Easter  bags.
