Wednesday activities

Wednesday morning we hit up storytime, and we had a special guest join us. Grandma Coco! It's incredible to see the changes that happened from the precious week. Everlee marched to the front of the line to get her stamp, but patiently observed until it was her turn.
This week Everlee was a bit more interested in the songs, stories and activities, she sat still and participated.....for about 5 minutes. Better then last week;) As usual Evs was far more interested in socializing. I felt more comfortable letting her freely wander the room, exploreing and chatting. Her curious, independent, outgoing, and free spirit fills my heart with pride. She is a fearless one.

I think Evs thought the theme of storytime was duck duck goose. She was happy to gently pat the children's heads;)
Fascinated by the iPad, and I'm OBSESSED with her beautiful hair in this pic.
The boy who crushes on Evs giving her a hug. Daddy's response to this pic was an eye roll, head shake and "hands above the waist kid" comment.
Evs returning the love.
Learning and playing at the library is tiring. Think I'll lay on the really dirty floor. Ans take a breather.  Moms having an inner panic attack as this is happening. EWWWWWWW gross!!!!!
So happy after her fun morning.
Spending as much time with daddy before he leaves to celebrate his birthday, rendezvousing with friends.

Cashed out

Everlee and I had a very fun evening of playing hard and reading plenty of books.

She said bye bye to me at 7:45 and disappeared into her bedroom. I peaked around the corner 2 minutes later and saw her like this watching her Baby Einstein.

She cracks me up... Every. Single. Day.

Cutie Patooties

Everlee and Maci have such a great time playing together. We are soooooo thankful the Miller family is two doors down, and the little kids, as well as the big kids, can get together on a weekly basis. They are the best!

Storytime

We have a new Wednesday morning ritual!!! We head to storytime at the public library, and participate in a 15-20 minute toddler storytime. Today was our first day, and Evs had a hard time sitting still and listening to the songs and book. Although the activity was very interactive, Everlee was far too busy walking around jabbering to the other kids, and interested in their belongings. I love seeing her socialize with other children, and hoping she will make some new friends she sees on a weekly basis.
This little boy was rather smitten with Evs(breathe -daddy-breathe), and she thought he was pretty neato too ;)
After storytime we hung out at the children's activity center, and Everlee had so much fun playing, but had more fun independently exploring, and taking everything in. What a busy place!
So much fun crawling in and out if the bookshelves. Too much going on to actually read a book.
The most fun was climbing up on to the window ledge and sitting and standing. She would climb up the bench we were sitting on, then hoist herself up into the ledge. Probably not the wisest idea, but she looked so darn cute, and was having so much fun. Definitely a lot of monkey see, monkey do, as other kiddos wanted to do the same. Then, Everlee would follow their lead with other activities.
Walking around outside after our library time. Can't wait for next week!!! I love spending time with her!! Nothing is more important then her development, and helping that little mind and spriit grow and flourish. She makes me so happy, and so proud! I adore all of who, and what she is!
