I have always wanted to check out the butterfly exhibit at reiman gardens, and we finally made a morning of it. Grandma Coco, Everlee and I headed to to Ames, and spent some time at the beautiful gardens.
Owl butterfly. While my camera couldn't capture such detailed butterflies flying around the exhibit, it was pretty spectacular being in the exhibit with these beautiful creatures.
Evs was a bit timid, and squeamish around all the contained butterflies. It was a somewhat of an odd feeling having butterflies unexpectedly fly in front of your face, at you, and land on you. Not to mention you had to be very careful about where you stepped;)
After the gardens, we went to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, The Cafe. Go figure this is what Everlee was immediately drawn to;)
