Biker chick

Everlee wanted to ride her bike, so daddy attached the training wheels, strapped in her helmet, and off they went.  I'm sure this lesson was very similar to how poppa k taught daddy to ride his bike;)

Toes in the water(barely)

After Johnny's birthday breakfast, we headed out to the club to go swimming with more family. Everlee is very timid around large pools of water, so she spent most of her time on the sidelines;)

Running and swinging under the pole like at gymnastics, was the favorite activity.

We're gettin there

After two hours at the pool, she finally got in the last 10 mins, then of course didn't want to leave. Jan's granddaughter Kinley and Evs are 4 days apart in age. Fun seeing the two together.

We love these days with family, and our extended family at the pool!!

Happy birthday cousin Johnny

It was fun to have ALL of the Janaskos together for a fish fry, and to celebrate cousin Johnny's bday! It's been a record that we have seen everyone 2-3 times in 2 months, and we enjoy every minute of the quick visits! Naturally Evs was drawn to her Janasko men, but warmed up to Aunt Chel and Grandma Jan eventually. Probably because the fed her cake and cupcakes for breakfast;)

Preparing for our feast! These guys did a phenomenal job keeping our bellies full and happy. Us Ladies look forward to reaping the rewards again next year:)

Everlee has been letting me do more with her hair lately, and I am enjoying every squirmy moment of it.

Rich saw this on TV, and paused it to show me the boy version of Everlees hair.

When Evs first wakes up, or doesn't let me comb her hair, we giggle that we have our own little Sofie ;) 

Date night

Thank you sooooooo much grandma coco and poppa Rudy for having Everlee over for the sleepover!! These two parents of a fiesty, opinionated, strong willed, energetic, toddler, sure did appreciate a night on the town!  

Back to gymnastics

After a month off for swimming lessons, we headed back to the gym. Everlee was elated, full of energy, and a bit hard of hearing that morning;) she couldn't get thru each obstical fast enough, and ran around like a wild child. Participating in group activities was not on the spicy red heads radar, she had her own agenda. Hopefully she just had to get her excitement out of her system, get back into her gymnastics groove, and the weeks ahead of us will become easier and easier :)
