The rest of the night we celebrated with knuckles, high fives, dancing, and cheering. So incredibly proud of our little girl!! Even when feeling under the weather, she is still a determined girl on a mission! Hopefully today, we made some positive strides in the potty training department!

IT happens
This evening after dinner, Evs said go poo poo. We haven't been seriously pushing the potty chair use, and will randomly ask her if she wants to sit on her elmo potty chair. Sometimes she says no, sometimes she quickly sits on it, sometimes she toots on it, then quickly looks to see what was left in the potty, and sometimes she sits on it and dinks around. Well tonight she said go poo poo. Figured since it was 74 degrees in the house, she could go diaper less for a bit, and we would casually focus on getting her to the potty if she brought it up. She kept bringing it up, and we kept going into the bathroom. A special chocolate chip cookie was used as a reward if she went(yes bribery was used as an incentive ;) ) For a while it was all of the above mentioned shenanigans, but after about the 3,5, or 7 time(I lost count), IT happened!!!! Poop in the elmo potty. OH MY GOODNESS, we all were shocked, and Evs was a bit sheepish to show off her deposit. We hooted, hollered, and finally she she showed us her big poopie in the potty. As we gawked at our child's poo, she quickly reminded us of the chocolate chip cookie that was due to her. Daddy eagerly rewarded her efforts, as mommy cleaned her up. *Note to self:keep wet wipes in the bathroom. Cleaning up poo in squishy cheekies isn't so easy ;)*

And back to this...
Evs can not shake her cough. 2 weeks of the crud, had a decent week, then back to non stop coughing, a runny nose, and up for hours at night. Started her breathing treatments again, and anti biotics to officially knock this out of her system. She is such a trooper, and so strong, but can tell she's just feeling yucky! Feel so bad for her.
The germs in the Kneifl household can leave anytime now! We have all officially had enough of you. Time to force you out with our Kneifl family super strength, and with a vengeance. We mean business this time! You are no longer welcome here, get out.
Mn trip
We had such a great time last weekend in Mn with the Janasko family and Gma Coco. We hadn't been up there since December 2013, when Everlee was about 8 months old. It was loooong overdue!! As always we enjoyed creating new memories that will last a lifetime, and also learned some new words, and phrases, that will forever be engrained in our minds ;)
Huge thanks to Gma Coco for watching the three kids so that the four of us could go have some adult time Saturday night!! It was much needed, and appreciated more than you know! Already looking forward to our next mn trip!

All that Shimmers
Tuesday's and Thursday's Everlee comes into the bathroom with me while I get ready for work, and pretty much plays with whatever she can get those toddler hands on. Lately her obsession has been my make up drawer, and this morning it was my shimmer cream.

Kiss me, I'm Iowa-ish
Morning smooches before mommy goes to work.
Everlee wanted to put on mommys lipstick, and of course wanted to do it herself. So we compromised, and did it together.Monday, March 16, 2015
The rest of our Monday
After Evs 45 minute nap, we went on a walk to her future elementary school. Crocker elementary has an awesome playground, and it was a perfect day to experience all it had to offer.
Savoring her chocolate chip cookie. She picks the chips out one by one, and licks the cookie until it's mushy. :)
At the end of the night, Evs was dinkin around in the kitchen, and came in to the living room with a new hat. Towel hat that is.
What a wonderful day, with the coolest kid I know. I'm so glad I get to spend such quality time with her.
Indoor playground
Apparently when spring break is going on, there are not gymanstics classes. Mommy missed that memo, and got Evs all psyched up for her class this morning. When we walked in to the gym, there were a TON of kids running around, and it dawned on me. Oh crud (maybe there were a few stronger choice words) u bet there are no classes today. Sure enough there were not. Ok, another one of these things a first time mom doesn't think about. Grrrrrrrrr!!! So after I got over my annoyance, I had to break it to an eager Everlee, then come up with plan b for a completely devastated kiddo. We headed over to the indoor playground, and made the best of the crazy busy place, on spring break.
Counting. The red colored lights on her monitor represent how loud she was while jabbering away. So she was having a grand ole time in there by herself.
She finally gave in, and fell asleep at the opposite end of her bed, with all of her llama llama books!!
