Pony

You would think being a hairstylist, that I would have had Evs hair pulled up, twisted, and in piggies by now. Her hair has been long enough for such styles, for months, but I am just not a fan of ponytails that stick straight up on the head, like antennas or a Martian. I don't get excited about pulling her hair up, for the above reason, and because her natural loose curls are so beautiful down. Well her bangs are long enough now that they need to be clipped back with a barrette, or a ponytail, to get out of her eyes. I finally pulled her hair up on top of her head, managed a low laying pony. Then after nap, she kept asking for more ponytail. We jacked it up Martian style. Then Tuesday morning we did a combo of the low laying, and antenna pony. She loves all of the ohhhhs and awwwws she receives, and bashful smiles at herself in the mirror, when she admires her new do.
