Grandma's Turn!

Grandma Kneifl has been doing some daytime babysitting duty for us this week and we are very grateful for that. Everlee is extra excited to spend time with Grandma, because she has the magic touch when it comes to nap time. Everlee enjoyed her day with Grandma that included lots of playing, laughing, talking and going on walks. 

Visit from Aunt Brigett

Everlee was so happy to have a fun filled day with her Aunt Brigett. 

Zella, in her current state of insanity, executed a sneak attack on Brig's Jimmy Johns sandwich while she was in the bathroom. But, that didn't stop her from sharing some laughs with baby girl in her brand new Activity Center. 

Kamping Kneifl Style

Everlee had her first camping outing Saturday, and boy did she have a great time. She enjoyed the fresh air, sounds of birds chirping, and the company of The  Howards, and our neighbors two doors down. Everlee is definitely an outdoors girl, and we can't wait to take her on more trips.

Chatting about our upcoming adventure, and stealing smooches from Daddy. Someone has him wrapped around that tiny pinky of hers, and he loves it!

Camping is sooooo relaxing!

Taking a break from the heat, and chillin' in the air condition. How lucky are we that this happy girl is our daughter. She's never in a bad mood!!

Baby girl had such a great time, she fell asleep at home, watching the baby channel. Now, her falling asleep on her own, and not in our arms, is a first. 

Hopefully this is a sign of more independent napping!!

Relaxin and Standin

Everlee has started to hold my hand (technically my pinkie) during feedings and it makes me smile every single time. We have some good bonding time when mommy is at work Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

This is a pretty funny pic I got from Andrea yesterday while I was at work. It seems Sweet Pea likes to stand up in her ergo carrier. Whatever works, I guess. 

All hands!

Everlee has been grabbing and playing with a lot of things with her hands for the last few days. She likes to pick things up and try to move em into her mouth. She talks to her stuffed animals and really likes to explore everything she possibly can by touch and feel. It's fun to watch her curiosity as she takes in as much of her surroundings as her developing brain will allow. 

First week of day care... Complete!

Mommy returned to work this week and Everlee got to spend time with Grandma Coco and Grandpa Rudy all day Tuesday. Daddy appreciated this very much because he has slow pitch softball tournaments to participate in on tuesday evenings. To make the day even better... Carol delivered a shotgun to me that was a gift from Grandpa Doc. It now hangs proudly in my safe room next to the shotgun I received from Grandpa Eddie a few years back. 

Aunt Hollie began her new day care business on Thursday with a full day of Everlee. Chloe and cooper were good helpers throughout the day, and when daddy went to pick up the happy girl after work, he was welcomed with a beer and a grill out. With the family and friends that we have around us, It's almost impossible to think that life can get any better than this.

Everything goes in.

Good morning.

Everlee loves to get up in the morning and interact with cartoons.  It's very fun for mommy and daddy to watch her talk and laugh and point at the TV. Her awareness and motor skills with her hands and feet continue to develop and improve every single day. It's amazing to watch her grow.

10 Week Dr Appt

Everlee was a very good girl at her Dr appt today even though she had to get a bunch of stuff done that is not pleasant to a 10 week old. 

Here stats are:

Height: 22 1/2" 36%

Weight: 11 lbs 2 oz. 34%

Head: 15 1/2" 72% Wooooo Hooooo!!!

We are so proud to show off our healthy and happy baby girl to Dr Anderson. (Who will be seeing birthday boy Cooper in about 30 minutes)
