Order up

Everlee loves going to restaurants with mommy and daddy. She is so good, and can't get enough people watching. The funny part of our outing, is when we arrive at the restaurant and are asked if she needs a kids menu! This has been happening since she's been about 6 months, and cracks us up each time we are asked. Guess most youngsters in their late teens, and early twenties, are pretty clueless when it comes to babies, and their eating ;) Here we are at Jethros, and baby doll gets her own booster chair, and menu. The menu spent a good portion of dinner in someone's mouth :)

Our first Christmas!!

Christmas was extra special this year, and we feel so blessed that we got to spend it with our best gift Ever-lee!! 

It was so nice being able to see both sides of our families. 

Christmas Eve kicked off with the Kneifls coming to our home for a lovely dinner, great entertainment twister style, lots of laughs, thoughtful entertaining and educational gifts for lil peanut, and most importantly Lots of Kneifl family love!

Christmas morning was magical for this momma, and it far exceeded my wishes. As a child, there was nothing like being with your parents, and sibling, and opening gifts and stocking stuffers from Santa. That was always my favorite Christmas tradition, and I look forward to carrying this same tradition on every Christmas morning with my lil family. 

That afternoon The Janasko four came over, along with mom and Rudy to celebrate. Like the day before, our afternoon and evening was spent eating, laughing, opening gifts, and enjoying our time together. I know this holiday was extra special for my mom, as it has been years since we have all been together on Christmas Day. Also a BIG thanks to Mom and Santana for watching all three kiddos on thurs, while the four of us could Fong it up, and have lots if silly laughs ;)

We missed grandpa Greg and grandma Jan, they were warming their bones in the Az sun. Hopefully one of these Christmases we will be able to spend time with them too!

8 months old

Everlee turned 8 months old today. What a great way to celebrate , on Christmas Eve! 

Milestones the past month include eating food twice a day, eating her puffs by herself, army crawling all over, gracefully transitioning from sitting to laying/ crawling, waving, open shut them with her hands, titch longer naps, titch longer nightly sleeping, and non stop chatter that includes saying mama mama mama. We are working on dada dada dada, and know those will be her next words:) 

Well Hellooooo there

As daddy said before, Everlee has been such a ham lately, and her big personality seems to be getting BiGgEr and BIGGER  each day. I have heard parents will many times say "this is my favorite stage", and right now I would agree, Everlee is by far at my favorite stage. Her active mind is like a sponge, her ears don't miss the faintest of sounds, her eyes and head are constantly scoping out near and far, darting from object to object, her tiny yet strong body slithering from point A to point B, her exploring fingers and hands gingerly, delicately, and precisely rotating, twisting and turning, the most minuscule items, and her chattering voice is like music to our ears. Soooo many things she has accomplished within the past week. She truly is a delight!! 

Hello pretty girl!!

My favorite part of the day, morning! Who knew I would ever say that. It's all because this ray of sunshine wakes up so happy and smiley, it's impossible to be cranky when you see pure, sweet, joyful innocence each morning. We fall more and more in love with her each day!

Everlee has been such a ham lately. She's been making us laugh super hard at some of her shenanigans. Watching her grow up has been an unbelievable pleasure.

Happy 12th birthday Rambo!

Rambo is often compared to Einstein because his level of intelligence has never been matched. His countless hours staring at the wall, jumping up and down for every single meal and licking himself show how simple that big lug really is. 

He's been a great dog and a loyal friend. 

He puts up with a lot of pulling and grabbing and eye poking from Everlee, but somehow he seems to enjoy the attention and offer her unconditional protection. 

Happy Birthday Mama Kneifl

It's not a birthday that ends in a zero (yet), but it's still a gigantic celebration in the Kneifl household.

We have a saying in our family that goes like this "Kneifl women always get what they want". It's always held true, but it couldn't be more true this year. 

Happy Birthday from your two biggest fans. You're a great mom, and a fantastic wife and there isn't anybody else on the planet that I'd rather have by my side as we journey through this wonderful life we've established together.

Mommy and Everlee have had a productive morning getting ready for the holiday weekend. It's so rewarding to spend time in the kitchen with baby girl! I look forward to years and years of creating special memories in the kitchen with our daughter.

Getting our ingredients at the store. No more car seat!! Big girl is sitting in the cart all by herself!

Wait a minute, does this spice go with daddy's black velvet?? Think she may have a good idea. Little dash of this, little dash of that, and then a little nip off the ole bottle for momma ;-) 

Baking Is soooooo fun, and yummy!! I even got to lick the pumpkin off the spatula!! Can't wait to help bake some more goodies!!
